Missions Ministry (Gary Edwards, Coordinator)
The Missions Ministry focuses on missions outreach efforts, both foreign and local. The team coordinates communications with foreign missionaries, financial support given to missions by the church, and short-term mission trips.
Discipleship Ministry (Ricky Ward and Kenny Calhoun, Coordinators)
Our Discipleship Ministry is concerned with the overall discipleship of people involved at Heaton Christian Church. This includes sunday school, children's church, junior worship, Wednesday night programming, youth group, small groups, and the nursery staff.
Worship Ministry (Tim Winters, Coordinator)
Everything that pertains to Sunday morning worship services is the responsibility of the Worship Ministry. This includes musicians, singers, sound room, ushers, communion preparation, meditations, and servers, and the collection of tithes and offerings.
Service Ministry (Tim Frankin and David Ellis, Coordinators)
The Service Ministry takes care of the building, grounds, and church vehicles, coordinates the Prayer Chain, and handles bereavement, benevolence, and visitation needs.
Fellowship Ministry (Doug Laws and Pat Edwards, Coordinators)
Special events that include fellowship dinners, Supper Club groups, church picnics, and so forth, are coordinated by the Fellowship Ministry.
