Home : What We Believe

"For no one can lay any other foundation than the one we already have—Jesus Christ."I Corinthians 3:11

We are a non-denominational church, committed to basic Christianity as it is expressed in the Bible. We are committed to the ideal of Christian unity amongst all who profess Jesus Christ as Lord.

We receive the Bible as the revelation of God's Word and will for our lives. It is our final authority and only rule for faith and living. We want to live our lives as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, leading others to trust in Him.

Our members accept Jesus Christ as the Living Son of God, Savior and Lord.

We are a free church with Christ as our leader. We are not ruled by any denominational authority, but seek to live under the direction of God's Holy Spirit. We appoint Elders, Deacons to help lead us toward Christ. We determine our own policies, voluntarily cooperating with other Christians in fulfilling our Lord's Great Commission to make disciples of all people.

We practice baptism as taught and demonstrated in the Scriptures, whereby every penitent believer is immersed for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We share in the communion of the Lord's Supper each week, as was the custom of the early church.

We provide Biblically based messages.

We believe all persons to be created in the image of God and in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We believe that God has called us to be salt and light in the world.
